Privacy Policy

Draft. This text is a placeholder so the sign-up links resolve. It has not been written or reviewed by a lawyer and is not a binding agreement. Replace it with the final document before launch.

1. What we collect

Tuni holds the information you give it and what the app records as you use it:

  • Account details - your name and email address.
  • Health information - body-composition scans you upload (weight, body fat, muscle, visceral fat, and the rest of the report), meals and drinks you log, and any notes or goals you enter.
  • Conversations - your chat history with the Tuni coach.
  • Usage - basic records of how the app is used, to keep it working.

2. Why we use it

To run your account, store your history, and generate the personalised insights that are the point of the app. Your health data is used to serve you - not to build a profile of you for anyone else.

3. Who else sees it

We do not sell your information. It reaches a small number of service providers only so the app can function:

  • Supabase - hosts the database and handles sign-in.
  • Stripe - takes payment. We never see or store your card number.
  • OpenRouter - routes your scan data and coach messages to the AI model that writes your insights.
  • Email delivery - sends your login details and account email.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

4. How long we keep it

For as long as your account exists. Ask us to delete your account and we'll remove your personal and health data, apart from anything we're legally required to retain.

5. Your choices

You can view and edit your data in the app, delete individual scans and logs, and ask for your account and its data to be deleted outright.

6. Security

Your data is held on managed infrastructure and sent over encrypted connections. No service can promise perfect security, and we won't pretend otherwise.

7. Children

Tuni is for adults. It is not intended for children.

8. Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we'll say so in the app.

9. Contact

Questions about your data, or a deletion request, can be sent to our support address.
